Evaluate your Wardrobe

untitledThis month, the focus is on National Evaluate your Life day on the 19th, so let’s evaluate your wardrobe!

Many people go through life without much of a thought towards the more important elements, such as your wardrobe. Evaluate your life day gives you a chance to look at your life and change all the bits you don’t like. When was the last time you sat down and genuinely thought about what’s inside your wardrobe? At some point, everybody has bought clothes that have found their way to the back of the wardrobe, but why have they ended up there? Sometimes all you need is a good clear out; you never know what you might find!

When it comes to picking your outfit for the day, do you ever really make a conscious effort to make sure it looks great on you, or do you settle with the ever faithful ‘it’ll do’? If this is the case, you need to evaluate your wardrobe. Sometimes it’s difficult to know what looks fantastic on you, so opting for the same style t-shirt day in day out becomes habit rather than an active choice.

When you evaluate your wardrobe, do you consider dressing for your body shape and your colours? Knowing both your colours and body shape is the most important factor in dressing successfully. Your lifestyle is another important factor to include when you evaluate your wardrobe. Do your clothes say want you want them to say? Colours make a huge impact on how good you look in the clothes you wear – the wrong colour can make you look washed out, whereas picking out the perfect shade will make you glow.

Completely reorganising your wardrobe ensures everything is on full display at all times, making it easier to find what you’re looking for. Having allocated spaces for everything creates order in your wardrobe, which makes getting dressed in the morning an enjoyable experience; just as it should be!

If you need help when you evaluate your wardrobe, why not look into a wardrobe review? The contents of your closet will be completely emptied and organised into a capsule wardrobe, so only the pieces that look good on you are left, which means you’re left looking great all the time!
